“Standard”, the first Peterson pipe:
The Peterson Standard are the first pipes made by Peterson in 1875. Nowadays, these are among the most well-liked Peterson pipes. They come with the famous reservoir, that provide a dry, fresh smoke. In the “Standard System” series, the pipes have an army mount, with a nickel band.
All pipes from this line come with a P-Lip stem, the reason for Peterson’s fame. This special mouthpiece directs the smoke towards the palate, which makes the smoking experience more comfortable. Unlike a classic fishtail stem, this one prevents tong burns.
